Barre with Baby One-Day Trial Class July 24, 2014 (Thursday morning)

Whether you enjoy carrying baby close to your heart or prefer pushing the stroller, Barre with Baby allows mother to get in her workout with child-in-tow. This one-day trial class will be an introductory class to the Booty Barre methodology, utilizing all the same principles and techniques that our regular Barre class offers, focusing on postnatal and baby carrying exercises that are safe for the new or experienced momma.

Barre with Baby Trial Class August 25, 2014 (Monday morning)

Our premiere Barre with Baby class went so well, we’ve brought another to keep you moving in August. Whether you missed the last or are coming back for more plies, everyone is welcome to this low-impact, pilates-ballet-strength infused class. Babies can be worn or tucked cozily in their strollers, though strollers will be needed for support in lieu of a barre. Older children are invited to play at the park while being supervised by a hired babysitter. Read more

Who doesn’t love soaking in the sunshine while enjoying a workout amongst the beauty of our city?

For this very reason, along with the coming and going of vacation plans, there will only be drop-in Barre classes for the summer months. Baby Barre is a fun, safe and effective workout that will leave you feeling energized and stronger. It is unique in that it allows parents to fit in a workout and look after their own wellbeing while enjoying some snuggles with babe. Adding the extra weight of a baby can be challenging, but it will help build strength, endurance and flexibility. Baby Barre is safe for pre/post natal mommas.

So let’s plié, pulse and strengthen our bodies together one last time as Fit Community!
