Tailored to every fitness ability, FitCommunity’s Outdoor class incorporates high-intensity drills, strength, agility, endurance and fun, interactive games for a complete full-body workout amidst enjoying trails, stairs, fields, and many other beautiful surroundings the ravine has to offer. Barre with Baby Monday Spring Session ft. Portage Babywearing Services March 23 - April 27, 2015 (Mondays)

Due to the demand of our post-natal Barre with Baby classes, we have added an additional class to help give you energy for the day ahead with your little one.

Barre with Baby has been wonderful addition to Fit Community’s class schedule and features a demographic most dear to my heart; mommas and their babes . . . though dads are most certainly welcome to join in on the fun!!

Barre with Baby is similar to Fit Community’s regular Barre class, however with modifications and extra attention for the pregnant, post-natal or baby-wearing caregiver. Brittney with Portage Babywearing Services will be providing her expertise to support your baby-wearing needs.

Note: This class is slightly shorter than other FitCommunity classes – as we only have 5 weeks available in the schedule. Read more

Strathcona Spring Bootcamp March 3 - April 16, 2015 (Tuesday and Thursday mornings)

Yes, the snow is still falling, but winter is onto its final days which means outdoor bootcamp is nearly here!

Get ready for outdoor bootcamp season with one final 6 week session in the historic Old Strathcona Hall! Spring Registration Opens February 1st! Classes begin the week of March 2nd and conclude the week of April 18

With 2015 Winter Sessions well under way and nearly at completion . . . where does time go?! it is now time again to post our Spring Session.

For those of you looking for a Bootcamp or a Barre class to keep your body moving through the remainder of the winter season and carrying into the onset of spring, we’ve got you covered!

Spring Session

Bootcamp

Bootcamp classes will resume in Old Strathcona Community Hall, 6-7am, beginning March 3rd and run until April 16th. This is our last indoor session before heading outside again – yay!!

Barre

Barre with Baby: La Girondole at La Cite (Bonnie Doon) 10:15-11:15am; Thursdays or Fridays March 5th or 6th until April 16th or 17th (there are two different classes being offered – a Thursday option as well as a Friday option)

Belgravia Spring Barre: Belgravia Community Hall, 8:15-9:15pm, Tuesdays March 3rd – April 14th

Holyrood Spring Barre: Holyrood Community Hall, 8:15-9:15am, Saturdays March 7th – April 18th.

Note: There will be no classes during the week of March 31 – April 6th.
